So I got back from LA almost two weeks ago from filming my music video for my first single “Broken Dreams” and I wanted to do a post about it while it’s still fresh in my mind and now that I have had time to reflect.
Honestly, it was even better than I ever imagined it could be. There isn’t a single moment that went by that I wasn’t loving the experience and wanting it to last forever. I absolutely LOVED working with a crew and being on camera and performing/acting and making my vision for this video and song come alive. It was truly a dream come true to experience this and I can’t wait to release the final video for you all to watch. The countdown begins 😉
It is hard to believe that this all started from a breakup and going through a heartbreak. Those emotions were channeled into a song in collaboration with my insanely wicked talented Producer, Cameron Jaymes. Cam you are seriously the best – thank you for helping me create this song, working through my emotions and for all the mixes and back and forth’s to get this song to where I envisioned and heard it ending up. You rock! I honestly can’t thank you enough!
This video started with an idea in my head and along the way changed and grew in so many ways with the help of some great people and I am SO excited to see where it ends up soon.
I have to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped with the making of this video because I couldn’t have done it alone. I had the best team behind the scenes – my Director/Cinematographer Julian and my DP Zack – you two totally rock and did such a fantastic job. I can’t wait to see what magic you both are going to do with this video next. You guys made this experience so much fun and are both so talented and I am glad to have worked with you both on this project. Jimmy Chimarios and Maria Luisa Sivitilli – you two are my rocks. Jimmy – you helped with so many little things behind the scenes and helped coach me with my acting and emotions on camera. I honestly have fallen in love with acting through this experience and have seen what I am capable of. I definitely have plans to pursue this new dream further. Maria Luisa – you helped with so many things the list goes on and on but you are the best Momager a girl could ask for. This couldn’t have come together without all your help, advice, coaching and of course your styling expertise. My hair stylist Mark – you made me beautiful and I am forever grateful for your wonderful job doing my hair and all the touch ups during this video shoot. Austin – thank you for holding my purse on location during filming and for all your help behind the scenes. Chris – thank you for being the best “worst boyfriend” on camera for this video. You’re an incredibly talented actor and you made this experience a lot of fun and I am glad to have had you by my side during this process.
Thank you to each and every one of you reading this and those who have supported me throughout this journey. My family – who are my everything and who have done and continue to do so much for me. My Dad, who is my rock in life always and who has been helping me in making this dream of mine come true my entire life. My Mom, who is my best friend and cheerleader. My Nana in heaven who always believed in me and whom I know is looking out for me still and is helping make this all happen. My friends who are always there for me and act as my support system and therapists at times – you guys don’t know how much I love you all. I even thank everyone who has ever told me I would never get here, who didn’t believe in me or said I wasn’t good enough – you all motivated me even more to make this happen.
Remember to always believe in yourself and your dreams because you are your biggest critic and your biggest fan and YOU are in control of creating your destiny. Never give up!
Below is a sneak peak of a couple scenes in the video until the countdown to the launch gets closer.
